Crime Suppression Unit
The Crime Suppression Unit (CSU) routinely makes contact with major criminals while performing daily traffic enforcement and involve both passenger and commercial class vehicles primarily on I-16. Through the use of professional roadside tactics and techniques, these deputies have the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize indicators of suspicious criminal activity as they interact with these subjects.
In addition to these highly trained and experienced deputies, there are three nationally certified K-9s that assist the deputies in their duties.
